Free and paid
MilePal is free to download. In every section, the first 10 questions of Block 1 and Exam 1 are free. Full access is an auto-renewing subscription, weekly or monthly, with a 3-day free trial when you are eligible. The price is shown in the app and on Apple’s purchase screen before you buy.
How to cancel a subscription on iPhone
1. Open the Settings app and tap your name at the top.
2. Tap Subscriptions.
3. Tap MilePal.
4. Tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll down). If there is no Cancel button, the subscription is already canceled.
You can also get there from the app: Settings > Manage subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your free trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Common questions
I bought a subscription on another iPhone, or reinstalled the app.
Open the app and tap Restore on the subscription screen, or Settings > Restore purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. No MilePal account is needed.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles payments and refunds.
How do I change my state or my tests?
Open the app, tap the gear on Home, then State or Tests.
Does MilePal work without internet?
Yes. Every test and exam works offline. An internet connection is only needed to buy or restore a subscription.
Is the exam timer the official time limit?
No. The 30 seconds per question is our practice limit, to help you keep a steady pace.
Will my progress move to a new phone?
MilePal has no account, so your progress is not saved online. If you set up your new iPhone from a backup of the old one, your progress comes along with your other app data. Your subscription always does: use Restore purchases.
